CBNL and Airtel Kenya head to finals for two industry awards
- In the space of a week, CBNL and Airtel Kenya have been named finalists in the both the 2015 and Broadband World Forum and Telecom.com Awards.
The awards, recognised as some of the most prestigious in the industry, reflect CBNL’s support for Airtel Kenya in providing next generation backhaul and enterprise access services across Nairobi.
As can be read in our recent case study, CBNL’s VectaStar was able to use its advanced software to unlock spare capacity in the backhaul network to deploy additional fixed enterprise access connectivity.
This innovative and highly cost effective approach has been shortlisted in the Broadband World Forum Awards for “Greatest Advancement in the Field of Fixed Mobile Convergence” and in the Telecom.com awards ‘Virtualization Excellence’ category.
The winners will be announced at ceremonies on 21 October and 4 November respectively.
