CBNL launch 2016 PMP trade-in and modernisation program
- New customers given simple route to refresh legacy PMP networks with the latest carrier-grade VectaStar technology
- Up to $500 trade-in credit available for each legacy PMP outdoor unit (ODU) migrated to VectaStar
- Program runs from 1 June 2016 – 1 September 2016
CBNL has today launched their PMP trade-in and modernisation program that provides new customers with a simple and cost effective route to modernise legacy PMP networks.
Under the program, new CBNL customers can earn up to $500 trade-in credit for each legacy PMP ODU they migrate to the latest VectaStar technology.
Trade-ins are available on, but not limited to, legacy Alvarion and Hughes PMP product lines.
By migrating to the new VectaStar platform, customers maintain the same cost efficiency offered by a PMP architecture, with the added benefit of carrier-grade services, 600Mb/s per sector and up to 14.4Gb/s per hub site.
In many markets, the installed base of PMP technology is end-of-life, or simply not delivering the capacity or quality of service that end users demand.
CBNL’s new program offers a cost effective approach to upgrade networks which suffer from these limitations and refresh to the market leading VectaStar platform.
PMP trade-in and modernisation program trade-in matrix:

Along with upgrading to the most advanced licensed PMP technology, customers also benefit from CBNL’s network planning, software, services and product roadmap – a solution that transforms network performance and profitability over the short and long term.
The program will run from 1 June 2016 to 1 September 2016 and is subject to conditions on delivery and disposal of legacy PMP trade-in equipment.
